Access to Justice Programs Assistant

The Court Services Division of the Administrative Office of the Courts in Nashville is seeking a qualified person for the position of Access to Justice Programs Assistant. The successful applicant will be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about making access to justice a reality for all Tennesseans. 

Under the direction of the Access to Justice Director, a person in this position specializes in administrative operations for the Access to Justice Initiative, assisting both the Access to Justice Director and the Pro Bono Coordinator.  The position will play a key role in access to justice event coordination, website administration and development, communications, social media, meeting administration, and team support.

The position will also consist of professional work in administrative assistance to the Court Services Division.  The Court Services Division staffs and coordinates the access to justice, mediation, court interpreter, court reporter, education, and other programs for the Tennessee court system.

Proven skills in Microsoft Office programs are required.  Effective oral and written communication skills, listening skills, and organization and planning skills also are required.

Education and Experience: The successful applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree.  Applicants with an Associate’s degree and at least three years of experience will be considered.
