Administrative Clerk - Scanning

Under the supervision of the Registration Manager, is responsible for scanning agency documents and administrative assistance work of average difficulty.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Scan all agency closed files or clean them in preparation for being scanned
  • Index scanned documents, review to be sure no pages are missing, and make corrections as needed
  • Work with our OnBase developers and respond to technology requests
  • Scan the agency’s mail into OnBase
  • Distribute incoming faxes
  • Serve as the backup person to open and distribute mail to the agency when the person responsible for opening the mail is out

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  Graduation from an accredited high school and experience equivalent to two (2) years increasingly responsible full-time clerical or administrative work or substitution of qualifying education for experience at an accredited college, business school or technical institute in secretarial science or business area of study.

SKILLS AND ABILITY:  Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer; accurate and efficient scanning and data entry skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize work according to general deadlines; knowledge of standard office equipment; detail oriented.

Candidates who are selected as finalists will be asked to complete several tasks to demonstrate competency and skill.
