The Administrative Office of the Courts (“AOC”) is seeking a professional, energetic, and organized paralegal or legal assistant to work on the General Counsel’s team. Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years of full-time experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, existing legal research skills, strong writing skills, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe are required. Some travel may be necessary.

The successful applicant will work closely with the legal team that supports the Supreme Court and the judiciary across Tennessee. He or she is proactive and values and exhibits a focus on accuracy of information and meeting deadlines. He or she will work on various projects, including research for and compilation of AOC publications, reports, and rosters.

Education: Applicants must have graduated from an accredited college, university, or professional school.

This position requires a criminal background check. Therefore, you will be required to provide information about your criminal history in order to be considered for this position.
