Court of Appeals hears Cases at UT-Martin

The Tennessee Court of Appeals met at the University of Tennessee at Martin on April 4 to hear four cases on the docket. The Court of Appeals is one of Tennessee’s two appellate-level courts and focuses on civil cases from trial courts and certain state boards and commissions.

Court members Judge Brandon Gibson and Judge Steven Stafford with Circuit Judge Jeff Parham sitting as a special judge heard the cases.  Chancellor Michael Maloan also served as special judge for two of the four cases heard. The courts appearance was hosted by the UT Martin College of Business and Global Affairs. A reception was also held, with Appellate Court judges and Supreme Court Justices. - See more  here.
