Portrait Unveiling in Knoxville Honors 5 Retired Judges from 6th Judicial District

Five judges were honored on July 12, 2017 in the Atrium at the City-County Building in Knoxville with a portrait unveiling.  They were honored for their more than 130 combined years of service on the bench to the judiciary. The five honored were: Retired Circuit Court Judges Rosenbalm, Swann, and Workman; Retired Criminal Court Judge Leibowitz, and Retired Chancellor Fansler.

Many friends, family, and colleagues attended the ceremony to honor this historic moment. More than 150 people attended the ceremony including: Supreme Court Justice Lee, Court of Appeals Judges Susano and Swiney, Federal Judges Phillips and Jordan, most of the sitting judges for the 6th Judicial District, the Mayors of Knox County and the City of Knoxville, Reggie Keaton, President of the Knoxville Bar Foundation and Amanda Busby, President of the Knoxville Bar Association, the clerks of the courts served by the honorees, judicial staff and court officers, as well as other elected officials.
