Most children and families seen in Juvenile Court use TNCARE as their insurance provider, however there is not information available to assist in obtaining these services through the juvenile court system. Therefore, it is important for attorneys to thoroughly understand TNCARE policies, regulation, and rules, so that they may engage with their clients and provide encompassing consultation to achieve their client’s goals. In this training, attorneys will learn how to navigate the TNCARE processes so that they may assist their clients in acquiring necessary services and programs, thus creating a nurturing and successful treatment program and allowing for the likelihood of more positive outcomes. This training will not only increase attorney knowledge of TNCARE, but it will also enable attorneys to strengthen the attorney/client relationship by providing wholistic representation to their clients, addressing more than just their legal needs.
