The Governor’s Council for Judicial Appointments will consider 14 applicants when it meets to select nominees for the Court of Appeals opening in the Western Division created by the appointment of Brandon O. Gibson as Senior Advisor in the Office of the Governor.

The Governor’s Council for Judicial Appointments will interview the applicants in a public hearing, the date of which will be announced in the near future. The Council is expected to vote immediately following the interviews and will forward three names to Governor Bill Lee for his consideration.
