Educational Consideration for Systems-Involved Children and Youth

This session will provide attorneys and other child advocates information they need in order to advocate for children and youth who are court involved- either by virtue of dependency and neglect or delinquency. The presenter will discuss the unique needs of systems-involved students and how those needs manifest at school. The presenter will inform session attendees about advocacy tools available to support the academic and social success of systems-involved students and how to leverage them to support academic success, and stability and connection.
