Children and Youth Mental Health Considerations

This session will provide attorneys and other child advocates information about the mental health needs of children and youth in foster care and evidenced based treatment utilized to support children and youth in care, including policy requirements and best practices related to psychotropic medication prescriptions. Attendees will review considerations relevant to the representation of individuals with diminished capacity in light of the Tennessee Rules of Professional Responsibility.
