Davidson County Juvenile Court: Blended Sentencing Law

This session will discuss changes that have occurred in Tennessee Juvenile Law since the new Juvenile Blended Sentencing Law has gone into effect. This session will discuss the law's general purpose, the new category it creates, and the impact of this new category. This session will also discuss who gets a jury trail and what cases go directly to a transfer hearing. Attendees will also hear about Davidson County Juvenile Court's plan for implementing this new law.
