Nashville, Tenn. – The Judicial Nominating Commission met in Murfreesboro on Friday, Aug. 17 to review the 13 applicants for the 16th Judicial District Circuit Court vacancy. The vacancy was created by the appointment of Circuit Court Judge Don R. Ash as Senior Judge. After holding a public hearing and interview for each applicant, the Judicial Nominating Commission has recommended the following three candidates to Governor Bill Haslam:
