The Governor’s Commission for Judicial Appointments met on October 15, 2014 in Columbia to hold a public hearing and conduct interviews of candidates for the circuit court vacancy in the 22nd Judicial District, which serves Giles, Lawrence, Maury, and Wayne counties.
After interviewing the candidates and conducting a vote, the Commission has submitted the following three as nominees to Gov. Bill Haslam for the vacancy:
The vacancy was created by the appointment of Judge Robert Holloway, Jr. to the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals, effective September 1.

There are currently three vacant trial judge seats in Tennessee: 30th Judicial District Chancery Court, 21st Judicial District Circuit Court and the 22nd Judicial District opening. More information is available here.
