The Trial Court Vacancy Commission will consider five applicants when it meets June 14, 2016 in Nashville to select nominees for the Chancery Court vacancy in the 20th Judicial District – Davidson County.
The vacancy was created by the announcement earlier this year by Chancellor Carol McCoy that she will retire September 1.
The applicants are:

The Trial Court Vacancy Commission will interview the applicants on Tuesday, June 14 in Room LP 12 of Legislative Plaza, 301 6th Ave. N., Nashville 37243. The meeting will include a public hearing starting at 9:00 a.m. CDT, during which anyone may express their opinions in opposition to the applicants. The interview and public hearing will be open to the public.
The Commission is expected to vote immediately following the interviews and forward three names to Gov. Bill Haslam for his consideration.
