Deputy Staff Clerk Position for Appellate Court Clerk’s Office Available in Knoxville

The Office of the Appellate Court Clerk is seeking a qualified person for the position of Deputy Staff Clerk at the Supreme Court Building in Knoxville.  The duties for this position include: scanning, photocopying and filing of court documents, maintaining office and office equipment supplies, mailing and distributing legal materials, running errands and various other administrative and clerical duties.  In particular, the work requires knowledge and skill in data entry and organizational skills with an emphasis on details.  It is preferred but not required that applicants have experience in Microsoft Word.  

Education: A high school diploma and Tennessee driver’s license is required.  Salary for this position is negotiable depending upon prior relevant work experience.

This position requires a criminal background check. Therefore, you will be required to provide information about your criminal history in order to be considered for this position.
