Tenn. Code Ann. Section 17-4-201 expired June 30, 2014. The Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission no longer exists, but the results of the work the Commission performed are available below.
Prior to June 30, 2014, the Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission was charged with reviewing the performance of appellate judges using surveys, interviews and other information, as required by the law. The Commission used these evaluations to publish a report in which the Commission recommended the appellate judge for retention or for replacement.
