Listed Mediator FAQs

When must a listed mediator renew his/her listing?
Rule 31 requires listed mediators to renew their listing by March 31 of the renewal year. Rule 31(15)(b).


What CME courses are required for a dual listed mediator? 
A dual listed mediator is required to only complete 3 hours TN Family Law courses along with 2 hours General Mediation Issues and 1 hour Mediation Ethics.


Do your CME credits accumulate from year to year? 
No. Listed mediators must complete 6 hours CME credit every 2 years. Rule 31(a)(2).


Do CLE providers always post your CLE/CME credit to your mediator account? 
Generally no. CLE providers can choose to post your CME credit for a course approved for both types of credit. Please check with your provider to confirm if the credit will be posted on your behalf or you will be required to self report to the mediator portal.
Does the TN CLE Commission automatically send your CLE/CME credit to the ADR staff? 
No. The CLE Commission staff do not report CME that was included on a CLE report to ADR staff.
