More than 300 attorneys are expected to be sworn in this week across the state as the Tennessee Supreme Court travels from Knoxville to Memphis to welcome the most recent members of the legal profession.
Seventy-two attorneys were sworn in Monday in Knoxville. Two swearing in ceremonies will be held Tuesday at War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville – at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The Court then will move to Jackson for a ceremony at 9 a.m. Wednesday, followed by oral argument for the Western Section.
Finally, new attorneys in West Tennessee will be sworn in on Thursday, November 8 at 10 a.m. in Memphis. The court also will hear oral arguments for three cases that afternoon in Memphis.
