After more than 25 years behind the clerk’s desk at the Nashville Appellate Court Clerk’s office, Janice Rawls is retiring at the end of March.
“Janice has been a very hard working and loyal employee. She has been a fixture in the Clerk's Office for many years and has been most efficient in her responsibilities of overseeing the Nashville Clerk's Office,” said Appellate Court Clerk Mike Catalano.
Rawls has served as Chief Deputy Clerk since 1999 and has been with the Clerk’s office since 1987. Prior to joining the Clerk's Office, Janice worked for several lawyers in Nashville including William Willis and A. B. Neil, Jr.
“Janice has always been helpful to lawyers and litigants alike in her service to the appellate courts of Tennessee,” Catalano said. “We all thank her for all of her work and wish her well in retirement. She will be missed.”
Rawls lives in White House with her husband, Larry. She plans to enjoy her retirement by spending time with their seven grandchildren.
