The University of Pittsburgh honored retired Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Janice M. Holder, of Memphis, with the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Alumni Award for her professional accomplishments, such as her work with Access to Justice issues, and dedication to the school.
Justice Holder served as the first female chief justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court and retired from the bench in September 2014, after nearly 18 years on the Supreme Court and 24 years with the judiciary. Click here for complete details about the honor.
