Governor Bill Lee appointed Jennifer Covellis to the 26th Judicial District Chancery Court. Ms. Covellis fills the vacancy created by the elevation of the Honorable Steven W. Maroney to the appellate bench, effective immediately.
Ms. Covellis currently serves as an attorney at Karnes Legal Services. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Rhodes College and juris doctor at Mississippi College School of Law.
The 26th Judicial District covers Chester, Henderson, and Madison counties.
