Perlen Selected As New BLE Administrator

Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee Supreme Court is pleased to announce Lisa Perlen as Board of Law Examiners Administrator.

 

“We are excited to have Lisa start at BLE,” said Chief Justice Wade. “Her experience as an attorney and U.S. Chief Deputy Clerk will be an asset to the position.”

Perlen was with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Tennessee for 18 years. She served as Chief Deputy Clerk and served on national court committees to determine best practices for the federal court system.

“It’s great to be with the Board of Law Examiners and I look forward to working with our future lawyers,” said Perlen.

The BLE Administrator provides management and support for all aspects of the bar admissions process, including oversight of the Board’s office and staff.

Perlen is active with many non-profit organizations and currently sits on the Board of the Jewish Federation of Nashville and Middle Tennessee. She resides in Davidson County with her husband, Arthur and daughter, Whitney.
