Retired General Sessions Court Judge Stewart Cannon Jr. died in his home on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. He was 84.
Judge Cannon served as Washington County General Sessions Court judge for 29 years. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at East Tennessee State University, where he taught Criminal Justice.
