Jeana Hendrix has been named assistant general counsel for the Tennessee Administrative Office of the Courts. In this role, she will be tracking proposed legislation, preparing fiscal notes, providing legal and procedural advice, and preparing judicial publications, reports and manuals as well as participating as legal staff support for task forces, commissions, committees.
Hendrix mostly recently served as the Juvenile Court Services Coordinator for the AOC, where she previously held the position of Indigent Defense Manager. In addition, Hendrix has worked as an assistant district attorney in the 22nd Judicial District, a deputy clerk in the Maury County Clerk’s office, and counsel to the Tennessee General Assembly.
Hendrix, of Nashville, earned a JD at the Nashville School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Alabama.
