With the retirement of Janice Rawls as Chief Deputy Clerk for the Appellate Court Clerk’s Office in Nashville on March 31st, Mike Catalano, the Clerk of the Appellate Courts, has promoted Lisa Marsh from the position of Associate Chief Deputy Clerk to Chief Deputy Clerk.
Ms. Marsh worked for the Clerk’s Office in Nashville from 1976 to 1983. She then worked in the Sumner County General Sessions and Juvenile Court Clerk’s Office from 1985 to 1988 and as a legal assistant to Joseph Longmire, Jr., an attorney in Sumner County for 18 years. Ms. Marsh rejoined the Appellate Court Clerk’s Office in Nashville in 2006 and was promoted to Associate Chief Deputy in 2010.
In addition, Mr. Catalano promoted Vickie Smith to the position of Associate Chief Deputy Clerk (Criminal Division) and Christine Vicker to the position of Associate Chief Deputy Clerk (Civil Division). Both are long tenured employees of the Clerk’s Office.
Mr. Catalano stated that “I have full confidence in Ms. Marsh and the leadership team for the Nashville Clerk’s Office and believe that we will continue to provide the highest quality service to lawyers and the public.”
