The East Tennessee Court Clerks' Association fall meeting was held in Morristown on August 26, 2011. Officers were presented awards for their service to the association. The following members received awards:
- Tommy Kerns, Sullivan County Circuit Court Clerk, was honored for his leadership as president of the organization;
- Nancy Humbard, Jefferson County Clerk and Master, was recognized for her exemplary service as vice president;
- Larry Sherrill, Cumberland County Circuit Court Clerk, was honored for his outstanding service as treasurer; and
- Penny Murphy, Jefferson County Circuit Court Clerk, received an award for her exemplary service as secretary.
Penny Murphy will serve as president for the coming year.
